Using Open Secret
Open Secret is a social media creative app for collecting posts from other platforms, arranging them into visual boards, timelines, profile-style creations, Threads, Portraits, guided experiences, captions, connections, audio notes, and exports. You must use Open Secret lawfully, respect other people, and avoid collecting, uploading, messaging, publishing, or exporting content that violates privacy, intellectual-property, harassment, safety, or platform rules.
Accounts
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. You must provide accurate signup information, verify your email address when prompted, and tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. If you sign in with Google, keep that Google account secure too: anyone who can sign in to it can sign in to your Open Secret account. You may not create accounts through bots, scripts, impersonation, or attempts to bypass safety or abuse-prevention systems. Open Secret is not intended for children under 13, and you must meet any higher age required by the laws where you live.
Your Content And Source Content
You keep responsibility for the posts, captions, comments, messages, audio notes, profile photos, video segments, source links, thumbnails, covers, exported files, and other material you collect, upload, send, or publish. You confirm that you have the rights or permissions needed for what you add to Open Secret and that your use will not misrepresent the original source of a post. Do not use Open Secret to impersonate someone, expose private information, harass people, or claim ownership over content that is not yours.
Creative Tools And Exports
Open Secret gives you tools to transform saved posts into creations, including connection styles, annotations, audio, video references, Threads, Portraits, auto covers, downloadable files, and shareable links. Workshop video uploads must be shorter than 20 minutes. Exports are provided so you can share your own Open Secret creation, but you remain responsible for how the exported material is used on Open Secret or anywhere else.
Messaging And Media
Open Secret messaging may support text, images, GIFs, audio, and video. Videos sent in chat must be smaller than 500 MB and shorter than 30 minutes, and other chat media may have lower limits. Private or disappearing media is still subject to safety, abuse, legal, and moderation review when necessary to operate and protect the service.
Subscriptions
Rumor memberships are paused during the beta and no one is charged. While they are paused, Rumor features are included for every account at no cost; they may change or end when memberships reopen. Before any paid membership starts, you will see its price and billing terms and must agree to them.
Moderation, Safety, And Availability
We may limit, remove, hide, preserve, review, or report content, accounts, messages, media, exports, or features when needed to protect users, investigate abuse, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or maintain the service. Open Secret is provided as available, may change as the product evolves, and may occasionally be interrupted or unavailable.
Termination
You may stop using Open Secret or delete your account from the Profile security section. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account creates risk, violates these Terms, violates law, or harms the service or other users.

Social Features
Creations may receive views, comments, saves, shares, forks, reports, passion reactions, follows, and other engagement. These features are part of the public or account-based experience and may affect ranking, analytics, recommendations, and creator insights.
